Okay folks, stop emailing me regarding the instrumental in Gone in 60 Seconds. The details have been in the discography for 3 weeks now: The song is called Down and it begins at the start of the first car stealing scene…Where Angelina Jolie is stealing the Ferrari. please stop asking me about it, I’m going nuts; easily 30 emails in 2 weeks.
MISL entered the Virgin Megastore Hollywood location top 10…sliding in at #8; it’s #3 on their dance charts. Although the Hollywood location tends to be quite liberal to the dance scene, it is also quite possibly the busiest Virgin Megastore in the country. Still not a single CD5 in the singles bin, though.
- The past few days on teh Message Board have dwiddled down the lyrical possibilities of NGCBD (or have they expanded them?). That and Shame have been added to the lyrics.
- The Electric Daisy Carnival is this weekend here in the surrounding area of LA. Rumors have it as being as far away as San Diego. Crap. Better get my oil changed.
- Peter Gabriel’s OVO: The Millenium Dome is out in the stores. Details on BT’s participation is in the discography. And as always, it’s getting rave reviews.
- Calendar and Tour to be updated soon. Additional CD sleeves have been upped as well as a few minor additions into the discography. Nothing spectacular for all you nutso fans.
A few things…updated to this update…NGCBD has finally been added to KROQ’s full rotation. So if your in LA, expect to hear it once every 4 hours. Next. Dreaming is #5 on the Billboard dance chart. I smell a monster of an album. And Billboard loves it…even though some of the reviewers’ facts are incorrect. Did I mention he’s already started recording his next CD? I heard a snippit on the phone. Satellite meets Flaming June was what I got…
On June 6, 2000, Movement in Still Life Was released in the US and that afternoon he participated in two online interviews. Both are now available in the Multimedia section. Special thanks to BenMonkey.
Although Never Gonna Come Back Down is on full rotation on several radio stations throughout the US, KROQ in LA does not have it as so. Call and request it,
The number is 1-800-520-1067. Also, call The END in Seattle, Washington at 1-800-423-1077
Several uncommissioned mixes of Dreaming have been showing up on Napster. These are mixes that were done using Mixman. DJ “this” mix and DJ “that” mix as well as my own mix, lol…The Fuzz Micks. I haven’t seen that one out there, yet, though. I put the Fuzz Micks in the Multimedia section. And don’t laugh, it’s my first remix EVER.
Nettwerk had some pretty cool DAPs made for BT as well as some banners. If you want to check out the DAPs…click the link. PC MAC. I will hopefully be putting up the banner(s) here pretty soon.
The Tour Section and Calendar have been updated with a few things, including a few minor tour date corrections.
The Dreaming CD5 has been released in the UK with 3 tracks. No plans for a US release (other than vinyl). The US release for Never Gonna Come Back Down with several remixes…including one by Timo Maas, as of right now, will not be released to the masses via single. Promo Only. Damn. Another $100 purchase on Ebay, I suppose.
