Well I hope it is a smooth transition, but the site has moved…hopefully flawlessly. Thanks to my new partner in crime Chas Danner for providing the space…we are now The BT Network.
In the coming weeks new stuff will be implemented into the pages, including areas where you all can upload thought and ideas about certain topics or just in general. A new design might be happening soon…but first things first.
Also, notice there is now a search engine on this site, so you can look for that article you read way back when, but don’t remember where it is. I’ve added images on the Index page to the Contests section, the Sitemap, and Email Form.
The best part about the new space is that there is now enough room to upload several sound bites and video clips. As soon as I get them converted and think of a simple design to connect them all, I will institute it.
Tis all for now.

Wow. A few things:
The Plastic 3 Compilation is out and Virgin Megastore is giving away a Nettwerk Sampler with BT and Delerium mixes off their new releases.
Nettwerk Summer Sampler
- BT - Mercury and Solace - Quivver’s Transatlantic Mix
- Delerium - Heaven’s Eath - Key South Remix
- Delerium - Aria
I was at a gas station in Hollywood this evening and ran into David Byrne (Talking Heads). Anyway, nice guy and he figgin’ asked me what was on my stereo. I had the Plastic 3 comp in and the Tiesto Mix of Dreaming was on.
DAVID
What’s that you’ve got on?
ME
Some compilation.
DAVID
Well who’s this?
ME
Um, BT.
DAVID
Hmmm. I like it. Have a good night.
...and he got in his black Mercedes and left. Wish I had a different mix or track on though, no offense DJ Tiesto, but Dreaming would be a difficult track to top in the way that it is already produced.
Okay, that’s it. Only electric vehicles are allowed to pull forward, the exhaust is killing me.

No major News other than I just downloaded Microsoft’s IE5 for MAC as a see hee and realized how terrible my site looks in IE5. I am currently working on complimenting the two. Microsodt should really work on their fonts. Damn.
If you feel like it, you can pull forward…

Well since I posted the “Essay” Contest 5 days ago I have been bombarded with email. I like it. Finally a contest where nothing is guaranteed and any fan can enter. I hope you all know that the winning entry will be posted on this site. If you have a problem with that, lemme know now.
Went back to AZ over the weekend and spun at the old watering hole (Club Congress). Was there for many years with in house DJ Spyder Rhodes. Hadn’t been there in awhile and was my first chance to drop some new BT on the steel wheels…well the steel Pioneer CDJ700’s, but nevertheless…Sunblind absolutely PACKED the floor. Blew me away. Played it right at midnight. Ugh, it was wicked.
Few things this week before I’m off for another nightmare of a video (4 Days with tons of cameos = bodyguards and entourages)
- A new Flash intro ( I like it simple, but gotta keep the eye candy goin’)
- BT splits for another show (see Tour Info)
- Some “Go” and More up on Ebay (9 days left)
- Mini review of US MISL at CDNOW via link in Messageboard
Tis all for now, thanks all…P.S. I didn’t get one brunette.

Well in the last ten days I’ve finished the worst film I’ve ever worked on, had my 30th birthday, bought a DVD player, and received more email than Microsoft’s help line. BT will be back in the US by the end of the week and is having a wonderful tour. As busy as he is, his stress level is equal to my income at the moment…which is none. I’ve talked with BT’s management recently and here’s what I know…details to follow by the end of the day in the related areas on the page.
Now the big news. I have been given 1 signed 12” of “dreaming” and I’m going to give it away. Considering the rarity, the contest will be rather difficult. Then again I may just take the 10th caller. I dunno. I just may give it to whoever. Contest to be posted by the end of the day.
Check back quickly. The delay on the Mercury and Solace video is due to a legal situation. I should know soon whether or not I can post it. Thanks to you all.
Would you like fries with that?

Well it appears that making Never Gonna Come Back Down Real Audio available was a bit premature. Even though it is available on one of the several versions of European MISL releases, it was been brought to my attention that’s as far as it should get right now. So it was only up for less than a day. I apoligize to anyone I offended by uploading it as streaming audio. There was no malice intended.
Now, BT is off for a bit of a mini tour…3 weeks or so. He should be back here in LA around the end of March, just a few 5 weeks prior to the US release…time is a ticking and I hope to have another contest here soon. Keep checking back.
Also, This Thursday is my birthday…send me something nice. I like brunettes.
Putt putt forward…

Peter Gabriel called BT this week and a friend of his, Simon from Afro Celt Sound System, is doing a bunch of TV shows in the US in the coming weeks and needed a singer. Peter asked if he thought Kirsty (Hawksaw) would be up for it. BT called up Kirsty and well, in the next few weeks you may be seeing just a little bit of Kirty on Conan O’Brian…
That’s it right now…

Boy has it been slow. Not a ton of news around…tis the season to be quiet, I suppose. I haven’t abandoned the site, there’s just nothing really happening right now. I have been waiting for my Japanese import of MISL for 2 months now, received an email that it was on the way, but I think it’s being shipped from Pluto…or maybe I’ve finally been taken for a $50 ride on the internet…we’ll see.
I have, however, located a previously unavailable mix of Anomaly…Calling Your Name and dropped it off in the sounds section. If anyone can tell me where this mix is available otherwise I would appreciate it. Track credits list it as copyright 1997.
I wish everyone the best and safest of Holidays and the New Year. Stay out of trouble, or at least don’t get caught.
