And so the cycle of exploitation begins/continues.  Any bets on whether she ends up on a new mouskateer show with her own Disney show to follow?  BT will be the new Billy Ray Cyras (sp?).  I know I shouldn’t be so cynical but this is all so ridiculous

Yes, indeed ridiculous that an innocent child was taken from her father and is now put in a very unstable and scary position of being on the run from the law.  I would be great if we could all just agree that, no matter who is involved, it is never good for a child to be in this situation and that any parent would do anything and everything they could to get their child back or at least find out where they are.

Despite anyone’s personal issues with Brian, it is simply downright cruel and malicious to continue to publically shred someone who is obviously going through a every difficult time (especially if you don’t personally know the people and situation first-hand).

I dont know man, having your fans listen to “do that she can” could be seen as cruel too.

“squeeeeeee!! he wore the hat!!! He looks so fucking cute in that hat!! He had it in DC too! And yes it’s a cute interview. Could have used a little less video, but still good!” -Peach

This isn’t about the alleged abduction.  This is about BT bringing it to his fan base and designating his fan site administrator as a contact person.  This is about someone who has so thoroughly blended the lines between celebrity persona and real person that its clear, at least to me, he doesn’t know the difference anymore.  Why can I comment on it and reach my own scathing conclusions, because he invited it . . . pure and simple.  When artist’s begin selling peices of themselves, not filtered through their art, but directly and personally to the masses via myspace blogs and family photo album videos for major releases, they open themselves, not just their art, up to criticism.  BT’s art used to be important now it seems his arrogance has led him to believe his personal life should have equal status.  Get in line with the rest of humanity when it comes to brokenness and pain, that’s not what makes one unique, its how they chanel it in a positive universal way.  I used to think BT knew that.
