Hey guys

As upsetting as it is to even be addressing this - and as I have been committed to silence for years for Kaia’s sake - I would like to say the following :

It is now as clear to everyone else, as it has been to me for years, that my error in judgment has invited the wrong kinds of people into my life. I am not going to do engage in public discourse on this matter. Additionally I have not spoken to Mrs Durrett nor has Ashley for several years. I am however in the process acquiring a restraining order and considering legal recourse against Mrs Durrett in response to her public and private threats against myself, and my close friends and my family. I have tried for years to make an impossible situation work that has never known any modicum of stability, and I refuse to raise my daughter in the chaos that Ashley and myself (to an extent) grew up in. I am focused solely on single parenting my daughter and creating music that impacts the world in a positive and meaningful way. As our custody mediation is current and ongoing we both ask you to respect our privacy in this sensitive time.

Well that settles it.. She’s just crazy and he’s never done anything wrong! It was all a big misunderstanding!

Here’s some free advice, B.

1. Any “legal recourse” you could possibly consider would be ridiculous on its face and tossed out in your first hearing, if not before the paper trail ever led to a courtroom.

2. You wouldn’t dare, because it would label you vindictive in family court, where ruling odds currently sit at 90% mother, 5% father, and 5% CPS.

3. Even if you charged libel and/or slander over the internet, there’s no precedent and we’re still two years worth of litigation from the landmark case (not to be confused with Landmark, right?) being decided. We all have shit published about us that we’d rather not be public. Remember: You’re a unique, whiny bitch on the internet, just like everyone else. Muzzling people online remains a recklessly stupid idea, as you and your moderators on BT Music have recently discovered.

4. You’ve been shunning all the right people for years while associating with the wrong ones and look where it’s gotten you. Your real friends will be honest with you and challenge you to become a better person, not kiss your ass and tell you how great you are. You’re now in the unique position of being both a protagonist and an enabler, which means you get to play victim whenever you want and instantly generate sympathy. We’re fresh out of that here. If, however, you’re up for a mug of Wake the Fuck Up, we’ll be happy to oblige.

Your error in judgment continues. I hope you remain as happy as you’ve always been with it.

That’s pretty hilarious; someone put me on the stand and ask me, “Has Brian been committed to silence for years for Kaia’s sake over this matter? If not, could you elaborate?”

I am committed to silence because that is what I have been told to do by my advisors at The Forum (now called Landmark Education, but don’t be fooled… it’s still The Forum). As long as I go along with what they say, they will pay for 100% of my attorney’s fees in my attempt to gain complete custody of my daughter. The will plan and execute a severe squashing of people’s characters who are involved in the matter and as long as I play by their rules, they will handle nearly everything.

And for those of you who don’t realize, Shane warned me about The Forum several months before I went to their retreat. I didn’t listen to him, because after all, what does he possibly know about me? I actually told him he should go and check it out. He said something rude to me like, “Not a fucking chance”. Recall how I exclaimed that I missed Kaia so much in one of my Myspace blogs? I was on the Forum retreat. How enlightening. The beat you down into a completely, blubbering, crying mess.

And remember that blog I wrote on Myspace about my childhood and being beaten and all that jazz? That was right after I returned from The Forum retreat… where they beat you down into emotional pulp, force you to talk about your past, dig up all your horrible childhood memories, berate you and keep you up for 14-16 hours a day. It’s wonderful. I’m a new man. Look it up, you all should join.

Everything that i’ve seen about Landmark screams cult.  Some exit therapy will be needed.
