So how’d you dig the flick? I thought of you when I went to see it.

Cheesey in parts, but hard to make a movie about the Transformers and not be a little cheesey.  At least the chick was super hot.  Special effects were great, and the designs turned out to be good even though early concept art leaks looked like shit.  Lots of nods for original fans like myself hidden throughout the dialogue and backgrounds, and they left it KIND OF dark instead of making it all kiddy.  Overall I give it 4.5 out of 6 possible pints.  Can’t wait for the sequel.

Hm, I was surprised this movie was geared towards kids, especially the “special-time” part....

I noticed that when the thing falls from the sky, some guy says, “this is cooler than armageddon!”

(BTW, this is TBF on the BTN, it was taken for some reason....)
