Well, I will be travel restricted (with two jet-lagged toddlers in tow) so Mohammed will be coming to the (space) mountain.

Completely unrelated to the post BUT: Alan, long time man! So long in fact that the first time/last time I met you, you only had the one youngin’!! Suppose that’s what happens when you end up working 70 hours and getting paid for 37.5

Speaking of jet lag - I’ll be travelling to the UK in July with not one, not two but three stop offs (refueling): Brisbane, Brunei, Dubai and then (finally) London. The plus side is that it’ll be summer!

Where ARE my manners?  Arthur, that’s very nice of you to say.  If it’s any consolation there are loose plans for us to come back via Can o’ Duh in September/October 2009.  If we do we’re duty bound due to other commitments to hit both BC and NS so I guess stops in between aren’t out of the question.

MrMarshall - I will be residing near Bath as of mid-to-late April and you are of course welcome to stay in what will be our humble abode. IM me or some shit.

You are too kind. Sadly, I’m only there for a wedding and that’s in the north. Couple in the obligatory visit to the family in Scotland and 3 weeks is too short a time. Esp. when one considers that I am, essentially, going over on nothing more than a whim. Girls, pfffffffffffft.

I have tentative plans to move over there at the end of the year/start of next year so will definitely IM you should that eventuate (I’d say an 0.75 probability).... or some shit.

All I have to say is that PPHC, if you’re in England at any point let me know. I reside in Bristol which is about 10 minutes from Bath and you mentioned Bath, although you could have been talking about Bath Canada or Bath Anaheim or having a bath ah home, I’m not sure.

Last time we met you just had the one kid and a slightly jealous pet if I recall correctly. My NZ days were happy days…

For clarity’s sake (and Gratch’s)…

My two day stop-over in LA (staying in Anaheim) is en route to the UK (landing at Heathrow 11/04/08).  Some short time after that I will indeed be moving to Bath (near Bristol), UK, for an 18 month stay - we intend to buy a house but will be renting to begin with.

By the way Gratch, do you know the club - Jesters (now Jesters at the Magic Box)?  My mate owns it.

I do know Jesters, both the old Jesters where I had a few alcohol fueled student comedy nights and the new.

Haven’t been for a while. I miss the Magic Box - used to be a Wetherspoons pub, and a cheap one at that. You could get Guinness for £1 a pint a back in ‘02 when it opened, it was an absolute bargain. Whats that, about $1.90 US, or about $2.50 NZ… I miss the Magic Box.....
