Never noticed it was posted for download at the bt-network. Must have been vacationing or something, used to login daily otherwise. And I never asked anyone for any unreleased BT tracks on the board or outside of it. Is it allowed here now after all this drama? That all said, Flesh is an epic track in the spirit of IMA - I also love Beta even though some of you would claim and say it sounds dated now, I’ve never cared for that point of view when talking about any music.

That whole don’t post for files crap is stupid.  BT himself has said he supports file sharing.  There is even a video clip where somebody asks BT to say “Don’t post asking for files.” What did BT say instead?  “Respect the artist.”

It is even more asinine when you think about who it was that was spreading Force of Gravity all over the internet to the JC fans.

I think the idea was that you weren’t supposed to record or intercept the stream in any way but that shows some sort of sharing spirit.

People posting asking for files only really becomes a problem if it happens so freqently that nobody else can get a word in edgeways imo. Otherwise theres nothing wrong with being naive. Plus, asking for things such as Beta or Lemon balm & Camomile has got to be semi-legit as it was available for free anyway and you can’t purchase them, so you know you’re not pissing anybody off.

yes, and i built the server (as well as bugged the whole site and got great statistics that i was able to hand over in a complete report) that made that possible and shane did the html...go figure.  supposedly it was also streamed right off the server onto XM radio live as well.

eh, the only thing i needed was a proper thank you...i do okay during the day for work, thankfully not borrowing from peter to pay paul for bills etc.  there was more to that project that just setting up the servers..but the only thank you i got was after someone said something to him about how it was bullshit that i wasn’t thanked.

Kind of like the post on BTM where his new helper is looking for anybody that can tell her exactly what Buzzfunk supposedly sampled from twisted textures for toxic textures?  And this is based on some random person making a comment about a cheeky sample, that they can’t even remember where they saw it.  Seems like a recurring theme…
