Charges brought forth by Brian (plaintiff) against Ashley (defendant) have officially been filed and the state of Maryland appears to be going forward with charges against her. I contacted the Circuit Court of Maryland and although I was originally told this was an arrest warrant by the person who sent it to me… according to four separate sources within the court of MD and the county Sheriff himself, this document is not an arrest warrant at all, but is the official charges against her.
I was told an actual arrest warrant, if issued, would be handed to Ashley via officers knocking on her door or by mail - which would include a document attempting to set a court date for a hearing over the charges. She would likely NOT be dragged away in handcuffs or anything like that.
Please take into consideration that these charges do not signify guilt, however the court was obviously convinced enough by whatever Brian brought forth to them to file and issue the charges. My guess is he convinced them through proper paperwork that he does, in fact, have legal custody of Kaia in one form or another.
Apparently Brian still has not heard from Kaia and/or Ashley, but I still cannot find any evidence to show that just because he has not heard from her/them, that Kaia is in fact, missing. UPDATED:
