Do the Chorus of these two songs sound familiar?

...inevitably

For an appropriate start:

BT - Emotional Technology [sorry Vinnie ;) ]

Happy 4th[!] Birthday, ET!

This album will be released shortly. Does it sound like they are going way, way back to their roots with some of these lyrics? A few tracks feel like something that could *almost* be played on mainstream radio.

Im curious what albums have made you personal list thus far. Devon’s declaration of Chris Nemmo’s “The Nautilus Project” is a good candidate, and for me Hammock’s “...Chasing” as well as Hybrid’s album qualifies. What about you?

hahahaha ok i’ve never been one to shy away from silly UK pop bands and these boys are no different. They started on X-Factor last year with this performance, which was then recorded with Vanilla Ice and released as a single.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNx3Um3Sahk

Now I stumble across this: they took the BT’s ol’ instrumental and made Pop their own lol

New Chicane Album

Im giving this my first listen through. Keep in mind im a bit biased because my M-Audio AV 40s arrived in the mail today and just about EVERYTHING sounds amazing right now.

Im enjoy this album. Its pop, but i feel like he is finally get back on track a bit. I didn’t care for Somersault. But i do enjoy the majority of the tracks on this album. I’m a sucker for lush pads, and hearing Nick work with vocalist that actually fit his music style a bit more (that was a slam on the last album) makes me feel a bit nostalgic for why i loved Chicane when i was discovering EDM way back when in the 90s.

There is are a few tracks that i skip, but as a whole (imo) this is a fun album.

I think black thought’s verse on this title track and the accompanying music is one of the best pieces of their entire catalogue and perhaps all of hip hop. Wow.

Two YouTube videos of new Cut Copy song from upcoming album coupled with Hearts On Fire from their previous album In Ghost Colours

The official web page is down as we speak, but the label site of Modular Records is working with another new song Where I’m Going, which was also available from Cut Copy’s own site a while ago:
