An unplayed 12” Promo of Quark recently popped up on Ebay. The bidding war between 2 BT fans continued for days. As it eneded today, the piece of wax with 3 unreleased mixes pulled in a whopping $122.50. Congratulations to the winning bidder. Now if someone could only find that damn unreleased Divinity single.

Alright folks, here’s the news of the day…Remixes From The Heart ‘99 is up for auction at Ebay…with 2 days to go. There’s a reserve (I’m guessing $40), so if you want it, you’re gonna have to bid at least that. It’s an original, never played, from Germany, and has 3 of the 4 BT It’s No Good remixes. There’s supposedly only 500 copies. Click here to check it out.

BT just completed the Music Video for Mercury and Solace. The Video is apparently gorgeous and features Jan Johnston in it. Also, the single, to be released in the UK on September 27th, contains three mixes: The BT’s Master Mix, Quivver’s Transatlantic Mix and the Transa Mix.
Re: Movement In Still Life
The CD contains a song called Dreaming with vocals by Kirsty Hawksaw (Opus III). The track is apparently one of BT’s favorite songs he’s worked on since Grace. No News on whether or not it will (or when) be released as a single.
Fibonacci Sequence
Leonardo Fibonacci, who was born in the 12th century, studied a sequence of numbers with a different type of rule for determining the next number in a sequence. He began the sequence with 0,1, ... and then calculated each successive number from the sum of the previous two. This sequence of numbers is called the Fibonacci Numbers or Fibonacci Sequence. The Fibonacci numbers are interesting in that they occur throughout both nature and art. Especially of interest is what occurs when we look at the ratios of successive numbers.

Re: his new CD (released in UK October 25) and [Re]Verb.
“I am starting my own label in Europe via pioneer called Headspace, thats where my UK and Japan record will be released, for US we are talking to 6 labels, were gonna decide over the next month and it will be out after Christmas, 2 records, because I wrote so many songs and because they fit together VERY differently and show different sides of me, etc, etc. . . . .the (RE)verb album is not QUITE finished yet, but is WAY close and is a colaboration between me, Sasha and tons of Real World artists. . . .that will be out next year too.”
Re: the rumor of scoring Stigmata and what film he’s doing now.
“...I was asked to do Stigmata actually, but didn’t have the time…[and the new film…] it’s called Under Suspicion…and I get to write for a sixty piece orchestra.”

A couple of years ago Brian Transeau, Ali and Sharam of Deep Dish, and Lieven and Kurosh of DC label Music Now were sitting round a table at the Miami Winter Music Conference, joking about the potential of Washington DC as a major center of dance music. “We’re really going to put DC on the map,” they declared.
