K. A few things sort of BT related. More Jan Johnston than anything else. I would reveal the source, but I wasn’t granted that specifically so I will stay neutral for the moment.
JJ’s CD is supposed to come out in Frebruary…on Perfecto…with Flesh confirmed as one of the tracks. Religion (written by Paul Oakenfeld) will be there as well. Now…she has also been working with Chicane. Wow! I can’t wait.
Keep a close eye on the Jan Johnston page through my links…it should be completely overhauled soon.
and dammit, would somebody confirm the Japanese import! lol.
P.S. I will be updating the sounds section soon, I nearly have it all. Gimme some suggestions, dammit.

Well it appears that MISL has arrived in the UK a week early. Must’ve upped the release date. Early reviews state that the CD is amazing. The intro is supposedly hilarious and genius. I have the cover in the CD discography if you wish to take a look. Thanks to Atraxion Future for the scan. Anyone get the Japan Import yet?
Also, there is a new poll on the “Home” page, please vote. More later…
Please pull forward.

Only a few days away from it’s release…my palms are beginning to sweat.
I finally heard the MISL sampler with the 8 tracks. Didn’t get a copy so don’t ask for one, the guy refused to let me. It is incredible. I don’t want to ruin it for anyone, but of the 8 tracks on the sampler, I had heard 2 previously. Godspeed and Mercury and Solace. For a sampler that is rumored to be unauthorized and a premature release (no confirmation), the cuts simply blew me away. I almost was beginning to believe that I was setting my expectations too high and that I might be disappointed. Well, that was hardly the case. Unbelievable. I’ll refrain from reviewing each track. I will say each one stands on it’s own; they are all eclectic, melodic, moving, and romantic. Not to mention the CD itself friggin’ thumps. Damn. I may preorder it after all. For now…
please pull forward…
P.S. You only have 9 days left…get those ballots in and win a signed copy of MISL!

No major news…my trip to the Hollywood Virgin Megastore was a bust. They had about 30 copies of Mercury and Solace but that was it. I went up to the counter to inquire about the upcoming release…after a few questions…the guy just stared down the field…lost. Didn’t have a clue. His “Release Date” clipboard listed nothing, gave me a # and a name to call. Hmmm, we’ll see.
So, I went down the street to Tower Records (on Sunset). Again, nothing. They can order Imports, but need a reference # if you need a specific disc…and since there are 2 CD’s coming out, I wasn’t about to take my chances. 0 for 2. Hmmm, that’s 0%, bad news.

Sorry folks, took a day off to recoup from my illness. So I’m back and here is what is on the 2nd CD on the Japanese Import. I know there is at least this - there may be more:
Sunblind (featuring Jan Johnston)
- The Fibonacci Sequence
- These 2 songs will be available as B-sides to the UK and US singles, however, if you’re like me, there’s no way in hell you wanna wait for them, even though you’re gonna end up buying the singles eventually anyway.
Anyone go to Coachella? Anyone confirm the Mercury & Solace 2nd CD5? Anyone get a label # on the Japanese Import? Just a few of my questions.
More Soon…

So I sit here in my office as Coachella goes on, missing it…and disappointed. It’s only 2 hours up the road, but I’m still sick as hell. BT will be in Tent 1 for a 50 minute show this sfternoon, playing an exclusive remix of “Blue Skies”. I guess you could call it the “Coachella Mix” lol. I know I’ll regret not attending.
Anyway, I have been given the “green light” to release the artist who BT recently remixed I talked about a few days ago…Sarah McLachlan. The track, “I Love You”. The mix…“BT Vocal Mix”. No news yet on it’s release.
If anyone knows of a place to pre-order the Japanese MISL import please lemme know. Gemm.com (through my links) offers a few places online, but they’re quite expensive and I have yet to confirm the correct version with the bonus CD.

Well, quick important news. No matter whether if you’re in the US, UK, Japan, Canada, Ukraine, China…this affects you. UK gets a BT release on Oct 25. One CD. Japan gets an unofficial release on OCT 18…2 CD’s. YES THAT’S RIGHT! Bonus CD. CD1 is the same on both releases. I’ll tell you what the bonus tracks are in a day or so. It’s not a marketing scam. UK gets a full 74 mins of CD time. Japan just spends more money I guess. Pre-order it now if you can.
P.S. It gets better

With special thanks to Graeme Simpson, the BT interview from M8 Magazine is available here. Thanks very much to Mr. Simpson for the hard work in OCRing and HTMLing this 4 page article for all of us to see.
BT in M8
Well I have heard that the “ALL GOOD GIRLS” mp3 is a phony, so can anyone tell me who it is? I sure didn’t think it sounded like him, and lord I was praying.
There are a few BT items up on Ebay that I need to plug. Chas has a rare Nocturnal Transmission 12” up there, details on the BT Board or thru the following link, and I have 3 CD5’s up there. Take a lookie and gimme some of your money, lol.
Nocturnal Transmission 12”
Mike Oldfield: Let There Be Light CD5
Love, Peace, and Grease CD02 CD5
DJ RAP: Bad Girl Promo CD5 UNOPENED
P.S. Coachella is this weekend. BT on Sunday, confirmed.

Well, sorry to have been gone so long, I’ve been sicker than a dog. But I’m back. And I have news to tell. But absolutely foremost, I’d like to shout out to Rollergirl, “Thank you for all your news, corrections, compliments, rumors, etc. But especially thank you for your hot legs.”
Next, The CDR Sampler for Movement in Still Life has been floating around the rare music stores in the UK and has finally arrived at gemm.com. You can get there through the links. The track listing is in the CD discography and all the tracks appear to be edits.
Next, I recieved and MP3 called ALL GOOD GIRLS, apparently by BT, and possibly he on vocals. I know nothing else. Can someone gimme some info on this?
It has been brought to my attention that somehow, someway, the Flash file wasn’t working for some people in order to enter the contest; that it was defaulting to the sounds page. Well it appears that that has been fixed, so ALL of YOU can now see and hear it…if you have the plugins.
And finally, I haven’t been given the green light to release this new BT mix that’s coming out, but I’ve now heard it from 3 different sources, so here is the song title…“I Love You”. That’s all I can give you right now. It’s not as huge as I originally thought, but it’s pretty damn big. Apparently the artist has been after BT for awhile to remix something, nearly a year.
I’ll have more soon, enter the contest, and keep it shakin’.
